How It Works
1. Register your team
Sign up on GameDay and pay your team fee.
2. Players Register & Pay Levy
Each player registers on GameDay and pays the National Player Levy
($5-$15 once per year to Basketball New Zealand).
3. Grading
We place teams into divisions that match their level.
4. Draw
The draw goes live on GameDay one week before the season starts.
5. Play
Games run Thursday, 4pm-6pm at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre.
6. Finals
Top teams play for division championships.

What You Need to Know

Unlimited roster size
Matching jerseys with numbers
Mouthguard required for 19 years and younger
Teams must play all scheduled games

Basketball New Zealand collects a national levy to improve basketball across the country.
Cost per player (paid once per year):
$5 for 14 years and under
$10 for 15-19 years
$15 for 20+ years
You pay once per year when you register, regardless of how many teams you play for.
