Basketball Development Levy
From 1 January 2025, Basketball New Zealand (BBNZ) will collect a National Levy to help improve basketball across the country.
How much will you pay?
$5 for players aged 14 and under
$10 for players aged 15 – 19
$15 for players aged 20+
You'll pay this fee once a year when you sign up for your team, no matter how many teams or competitions you play in.
What will the money be used for?
Building better basketball facilities
Training coaches and referees
Supporting basketball programs in our community
